- GERMANY. Hamburg. Silver Medal, ND (1708). PCGS AU-53 Gold Shield. Fieweger-343. Diameter: 27mm. Obverse: an official covers his face with his hands but looks through his fingers, SO KOMME ICH DIR SO (How do I come to you) around; reverse: a hand offers a coin, KOMSTU MIR ALSO (Come to me also) around. A deeply toned Medal, very lightly circulated. This medal was originally struck as a gold double ducat by Christian Wermuth in 1708 to satirize the corruption of the imperial commission.
