- An exceptional GEM with lots of interesting color. Based on what we have seen, we agree this coin is an MS66. It is just a lower end one. Over the obverse surfaces are ultra clean and smooth. There some light frost breaks and ticks visible on the reverse, but there are NO major problems. The luster is full and does boom from all over. Both sides are a deeper even orange gold color. It is hard to say for sure the color is 100% original. There are NO spots, discolorations , or anything really unnatural that stand out. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are fully struck. The eye appeal is booming for sure! PCGS 7, NGC 0. PCGS has graded only 3 coins higher. The last PCGS MS66 (NO CAC) to sell in auction brought $41,125 in August 2013. Prior to that date, these brought up to $47,150 in auction. We think with a few years now gone by, this coin will surge and sell for a record price. Opportunity knocks loud here! Cert.
