- 1803 Draped Bust Cent. S-254. Rarity-1. Small Date, Small Fraction. EF-45 (PCGS). Handsome copper-brown surfaces exhibit a blush of warmer steel-olive in the center of the reverse. This is a well struck early date large cent, nicely centered with most design elements boldly to sharply rendered. A few widely scattered marks are noted, but the in hand appearance is largely smooth, and this is certainly a pleasing circulated example of both the type and die pairing. Breen Die State II.
