- Seldom Offered 1739-Q Billon Sou Marque Rare Perpignan Mint Issue 1739-Q Sou Marque. Perpignan Mint. Vlack-170. Rarity-8. AU-53 (PCGS). 29.5 grains. This piece has a very decent naked eye appearance and is a winner in all respects. Both sides are light silver-gray in color. The surfaces are a little rough, but only under magnification, and are free of distracting marks. A touch of softness in the centers is insignificant given the overall bold detail from a well executed strike. Provenance: From the Sydney F. Martin Collection.
