Ex Gerald R. Forsythe Collection, as noted on the insert. Exquisite and exceptionally well preserved, this coin is certainly closer to PR68 CAM than PR67 CAM! Glittering mirrors are deep and boom out from all sides. You can call these killer mirrors perfect. They also display bold clarity. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors look like a sheet of freshly formed ice. Both sides enjoy a totally original iridescent pastel purple, gold, and original nickel-silver color. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have stand out sharp strikes, imparting a bold contrast. The eye appeal is fantastic! PCGS 40, NGC 9, CAC 11. There are 23 listed at PR67+ CAM at PCGS, no doubt these numbers show quite a bit of duplication of submissions. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $7,000 and this coin last sold for $5,053. There is just a single PR68 CAM graded higher at PCGS, a coin that has never sold in auction but PCGS estimates a value of $30,000.
