- 1889 Liberty Seated Quarter. Proof-66+ (NGC). CAC. Enchanting surfaces are richly original with iridescent cobalt blue and pinkish-lilac undertones to dominant charcoal-copper patina. A handsome and uncommonly well preserved survivor from a mintage of 711 Proofs, most examples of which grade no finer than Choice. NGC Census: 2; 12 finer in this category (Proof-68 * finest).
