- 1863 Indian Head / Washington in Star Civil War token. Musante GW-617, Baker-494, var., Fuld-68/105b. Rarity-9. Brass. MS-65 (PCGS). 19.3 mm. Light olive and golden brown surfaces with pleasing satin luster. Unlisted by Baker without the designer’s initials, and probably just an oversight since he owned this one. Very rare in brass. Provenance: Ex William Spohn Baker Collection, to the Historical Society of Pennsylvania by bequest, November 15, 1897. Click here for certification details from PCGS.
