详细说明: A beautiful GEM Cameo example of James Longacre's Indian Princess Seated design, struck in aluminum with a reeded edge. Rated as R-7+ with an approximately three examples known, this piece, is an old friend, ex Denali Collection (plate matched, pedigree not on holder). The mirrors are beaming and reflect like a frozen lake. All of the details are fully frosted and exacting in the precision in which they were struck. Aluminum is a very soft metal, and is often susceptible to corrosion or hairlines; this GEM displays none of the former, and only the faintest of the latter, producing an AMAZING eye appeal. PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. This is the FINEST example graded at PCGS. NGC has a PR66 (no CAM) on their population report. This coin sold in April 2017 for $11,163; the only other sale of a J-1019 we can find is a PCGS PR64 (no CAM) in September 1993 for $8,250. Finer than the famed Simpson coin, which is a PR65 without the Cameo designation, this GEM is a real prize and major rarity.
