- Lot 618 1855 N-12 R1 Upright 55 PCGS graded MS63 Red & Brown, CAC Approved.Lustrous mint red mellowing to steel brown and light chocolate with nearly a third of the planchet showing faded mint color. Just a few trivial marks, including two microscopic ticks off the tip of the bust, a speck of dark toning midway between star 10 & star 11, and another spot nestled between two dentils over the C in AMERICA. MDS, die state b. The fine diagonal die lines at the inner curl are gone. Our grade is MS60+. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. Pop 1; 1 finer in 64.Estimate Value $300 - UP
