- ITALY. Milan. 2 Doppie, 1630. Philip IV of Spain (1621-65). NGC MS-63. Fr-724; KM-49, cf.Crippa-3/A. Good strike on a broad flan, nearly complete legends on the obverse and reverse with the exception of a couple of the letters in the King's name that are slightly weak and a couple of the tops of letters on the reverse are off the flan. Lots of detail to the obverse and reverse design features. Overall a lovely example with an excellent provenance sure to be a welcome addition to the next collection it enters.
