- FROM THE GLORIOUS PATTERN COLLECTION. A Rarity-7- (7-12 estimated struck) Standard Silver pattern half dollar struck in copper with a reeded edge. Liberty wears a cap with 2 stars and the ribbon does not have William Barber's B. Richly toned, this highly flashy near-GEM. Reflective copper fields are a delight to behold, generally clean and free from serious flecks or carbon spots of any kind. The coloration is beautiful! PCGS 3, NGC 0, CAC 1. The last PR64 RB sold 17 years ago! More recently the Simpson PR65 RB CAC sold in our January 2017 Regency Auction for $5,405, that too seems to be ancient history!
