GREAT BRITAIN. Victoria Diamond Jubilee Gold Medal, 1897. London Mint. PCGS SPECIMEN-61 Gold Shield. Eimer-1817b; BHM-3506. Weight: 12.98 gms. Medal engraved by G. W. de Saulles. Obverse: Crowned and veiled bust facing left; Reverse: Head facing left, wearing bandeau, inscription in left and right field, olive branch and date below. A decent example of this popular type with rich yellow golden color and a few light surface marks. Estimate: $700 - $1,000.
