FROM THE BLUE HILL COLLECTION Bold, brilliant, lustrous, and beautiful, this is a truly CHOICE example of this final New Orleans mint Seated Liberty dollar. Just slightly "off-white" silver surfaces have a bold luster with a hint of flashy, semi-PL reflection. Some minor abrasions account for the assigned grade, this well struck coin likely came out of the famed Treasury hoard in the early 1960s. The eye appeal is very high end. PCGS 87, NGC 60, CAC 23. There are three graded MS62+ at PCGS, only a single, non-CAC example ever sold in auction, bringing $2,350. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $2,850. A pleasing type coin for sure, worthy of a strong bid for its PQ quality for the grade. Cert. Number 25624536 PCGS # 6950.00
