- 1835 Capped Bust Half Dime. LM-5.1. Rarity-3. Large Date, Small 5 C. MS-66 (PCGS). Handsome pearl gray patina to both sides, the obverse periphery with a few splashes of warmer russet toning. This is a sharply struck and highly lustrous example with superior quality in an example of this scarce, conditionally challenging die pairing for the 1835 half dime issue.
