- ITALY. Florence. Florin, ND (1252-1422). NGC MS-61. Fr-275; Nomisma-1. Bright and lustrous with most the detail remaining on flan. Although the first florin was issued a generation before the first ducat, the issues of Venice gradually overwhelmed those of Florence to where few florins survive today.
