With stark field to device contrast to brilliant silver-white surfaces, it is difficult for us to imagine a more visually appealing and desirable example of this late date Proof half dime issue. Equally well suited for inclusion in a high quality specimen type set, the strongest bids are encouraged when this gorgeous premium Gem comes up for auction. Proof mintage: 960 coins, most survivors of which grade no finer than Proof-64, and only a few of which in any grade can support a Deep Cameo designation from PCGS, as here.
