Completely clean and free of any hairlines or other distractions even under a strong glass, you do not see anything but a microscopic mint made die line. This coin's mirrors are deep and have a rich chrome like reflection. They are clean, smooth, and extremely icy. The devices have a razor sharp strike and snowy white frosty surfaces. A touch of the clearest gold patina at the extreme peripheries add depth and character to this visually stunning coin. Only 762 proofs were struck and this date is often considered the APEX of the proof minting process.
