- CYPRUS. 1/2 Piastre, 1879. Victoria. PCGS MS-63 Brown Gold Shield. KM-2. A nicely struck coin with satiny luster and a fine 'wood grain' texture. Struck just after the end of the Russo-Turkish War in 1878, this coin heralded the beginnings of a currency system under the new British administration. Estimate: $240 - $340.
