详细说明: 1795/1795 Flowing Hair Half Dollar. O-111. Rarity-3. Recut Date, Three Leaves. Fine-12 (PCGS). A are and important die variety and the only reverse die to use three leaves below the wing for the entire year. thus pressure is high when these come up for sale, as so many collectors desire an example. Add to this the fact that few are known, and a coin at this grade level is quite important. Attractive gunmetal-gray with silver accents on the devices. No adjustment marks and the surfaces show the usual light handling evidence for this period and grade. All see have a heavy reverse die crack which quickly led to the extinction of this variety, and few for collectors to choose from. Furthermore, the obverse die is blundered with the date first entered far too low then corrected, creating an obvious double date. Its all good here.
