详细说明: This coin was originally in our December 2016 Sale of the Angel Dees set. Here was the description: Bold sunset hues frame the obverse and a satiny-lustrous sheen back lights the toning. When viewed under a light, the colors are enlivened, with rich orange and gold, with hints of violet and lilac that appear when the coin is rotated. The reverse is perhaps a touch more understated than the reverse, but its technical quality is superb. Well struck and nearly flawless (we note a tiny dot on the lower obverse). The details are fully struck. PCGS 5, NGC 0 (for MS67+). NONE ARE FINER. We note the last example was not anywhere near as pretty as this GEM, nor was it as well struck. It realized $4,465 in a weak auction, the 2016 FUN auction. The previous two MS67+s to sell were both CAC and realized $4,700 and $5,640 respectively in the 2015 FUN auction sale, and again, neither had the very pretty toning of this coin. This coin sold for $5,287.50 in the December Sale of this collection. The owner is looking at a different series now. The current PCGS Price Guide value is $5,250. Just like in the original sale, we expect some serious competition to add this superb 1915 to any top tier set. Cert. Number 25304502 PCGS # 3927
