详细说明: What a great looking, high condition census O-112, indeed tied for FINEST for the variety! Rated as R-3, this is a high end coin is totally original. A vibrant underlying luster radiates from below a dappled mix of olive, tan, pale slate, and warm gold patina on both sides. Every detail is well rendered from an exacting blow from the dies. Even with a strong glass we can only find a tiny trace of contact mostly hidden below the toning. A delightful GEM. The date is very rare in this lofty a grade. PCGS 11, NGC 6, CAC 4. The last one sold for $19,200 in April 2019 and prior to that, one sold for $22,325 in June 2017. Both have sold for well in excess of the current PCGS Price Guide value of $16,500. Just two coins are graded finer, the only one that is CAC approved is the extensively pedigreed Pogue coin in MS66 that brought $82,250. This is a great coin for any high end date or type collector.
