1855 Seated Liberty Quarter. Arrows. MS-66 (NGC). Although the rays added to the reverse of the Seated quarter in 1853 were dropped the following year, the arrows at the date were retained through 1855 to denote the weight change for the denomination as stipulated by the Mint Act of February 21, 1853. This richly frosted, upper end Gem numbers among the finest survivors of the brief Arrows, No Motto design type. Dusted with iridescent champagne-pink toning, razor sharp features are devoid of worrisome abrasions. Condition Census for the issue, and an important find for the high&nbsp;grade type collector.<br /> <br /> <strong>Numismatic Reflections by Q.
