- MEXICO. Guadalajara. War of Independence. 4 Reales, 1814-Ga MR. Ferdinand VII. PCGS EF-40. KM-102.3; Cal-1039; Ramirez-Ga4.4.1. Medium bust variety without berries on the laurel crown. Though struck with some crudeness, indicative of the instability of the times, this Royalist issue is quite well-preserved. The portrait of Ferdinand VII is crisp and the reverse crowned arms are well-presented. The surfaces shine with some remaining luster and exhibit an attractive gunmetal gray tone.
