A truly SUPERB and magnificent CAMEO Proof! These early date Franklins did not retain their cameo finish for long and only a low percentage of examples retain bold contrast on either side. The present SUPERB GEM has a wonderful Cameo contrast on both sides. The highly reflective mirrors have a bold depth of clarity and exceptional cleanliness. The eye appeal is excellent. PCGS 91, NGC 136, CAC 72. There are 9 in PR67+ CAM at PCGS. None have sold since 2018, and the three most recent examples have sold in the $2,880 to $3,960 range. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $4,250. Only five are graded finer at PCGS, all PR68 CAM and these are five figure coins when they appear in auction!
