We really like the look of this high end, tied for second FINEST GRADED SUPERB GEM! Very high end for the grade, the luster boasts a brilliance that is vivid, vibrant and gleams all over. The devices are nicely struck up, standing out against the satiny smooth surfaces. The eye appeal is excellent. PCGS 283, NGC 153, CAC 181. There are 30 graded MS67+ at PCGS and PCGS, after 36 years of grading has yet to grade more than a single MS68 finer. We sold the most recent example for $4,583 in our April 2021 Regency Auction. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $7,000 and if the MS68 were to ever come to market, we would expect that coin to bring a world record bid; in the mean time, if you are working on a high end Registry Set you cannot overlook this opportunity.
