- Triple Decker Collection. Adequate definition shows at the central obverse, balanced by very good sharpness everywhere else. As the most available New Orleans dollar, 1853-O has considerable appeal to type collectors, this being a significantly lustrous and only modestly abraded example. A few tiny, stray intrusions are not particularly worrisome.
