- A very pleasing and original PQ GEM housed in an old green tag holder. A frosty lustrous sheen peers out from under a dusting of pewter-nickel with soft pastel iridescent overtones. Sharply struck and very clean, this 1914-D has a great look. RARE in this grade and VERY RARE finer. PCGS 55, NGC 20, CAC 24. The most recent example to sell in auction realized $2,640 in July 2021. The current CAC CPG value is listed at $2,750 and the current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $3,000. Just 16 are graded higher at PCGS and none have sold in over two years.
