详细说明: FROM THE INCLINE COLLECTION This is a truly high quality and high grade GEM example of this surprisingly RARE date. Like so many Jefferson nickels, mass numbers churned from the presses over a quarter of a billion pieces were struck, but precious few show full crisp definition on Monticello's steps. Indeed, just a half dozen examples have been graded in MS65 or finer grades after more than three decades of grading operations! Brilliantly lustrous surfaces bloom all over with a strong glowing vibrance. Delicately toned with a pale golden hue on both sides that accent the sharply struck up devices. The eye appeal is exceptional for an example of this date. PCGS 4, NGC 0. The most recent example sold in the 2017 FUN auction for $5,640. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $7,000. Just two coins are graded finer, the finest ever to have sold is the sole MS65+ that we sold in December 2019 for $6,169; the finest is a 66 FS that has not sold in auction before.
