- Nearly definitive striking pressure has executed the design to a high level of resolution, such that the numeral "8" on the reverse appears to be the only element lacking perfect relief. These may have been freshened dies, as an ample supply of die-polish readily flashes from the fields. Color is a bit uneven as medium gold interplays with copper-rose hues.
