This coin is not deservingly tied for FINEST graded-as it should be the absolute FINEST KNOWN for the date! The quality is as HIGH END as you can get! Remarkable surfaces are unlike so many you will ever see. The smoothness and cleanliness is unheard of. No question this coin sat somewhere for 152 years being carefully saved. A very good luster for the date (these do not come with booming cartwheel luster) beam from all over. This coin is 1000% original. Both sides are a SUPERB GEM Original faded Mint Red (there is NO toning). The eye appeal is totally fabulous! PCGS 12, NGC 7, CAC 2. Here are two interesting price facts: A PCGS MS65 RB NO CAC, sold for $24,675 in April 2017. An MS66+ RD PCGS NO CAC sold for $15,275 in July 2017. The current Collector’s Universe value is $20,000.
