- A monumental quality Wartime nickel! Exceptional technical and aesthetic qualities abound on this STUNNING example tied for second highest graded at PCGS. Incredibly bold, vivid silver luster blooms all over, highlighting a wealth of pretty gold and iridescent clover-green and pink-rose. The reverse strike is bold with fully separated steps. Essentially without flaw, this one is finer than the Incline Collection coin we sold in Regency Auction 39. PCGS 13, NGC 0. The most recent example to sell in auction was in our March 2019 Regency Auction, which realized $7,344. This one has a much more even toning pattern and the eye appeal is exceptional in every way.
