This is a totally original, very pleasing, Condition Census level B-2, ranking near the top of the Rea, et al, and at the top of the Thompkins Census listings. The obverse is awash in a dappled olive, tan, russet, and slate blend that is accented by a satiny luster. The reverse is more evenly toned with warm, dove-gray and olive-russet at the rims. Both sides are nicely struck up with essentially full, crisp details. The eye appeal is very pleasing. PCGS 14, NGC 17, CAC 6. The most recent (and only) example to sell in auction with CAC approval brought $7,638 in March 2016. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $7,000 but a CAC-approved, totally original example should sell for more than that today. RARE any finer, with just 2 in 64+, 2 in 65, 3 in 66, and 1 in 66+ finer. Anything finer will approach or be in the five figure price range, making this a great coin for any type or date set collectors of more modest means. Good luck! Cert. Number 10111583 PCGS # 5354
