详细说明: 1835 Classic Head Half Cent. C-2. Rarity-1. MS-65 RB (PCGS). Iridescent steel-brown toning mingles with abundant mint color in vivid pinkish-orange. This is a delightful Gem, both sides sharply struck with a smooth frosty texture. Likely from the Elmer Sears hoard discovered circa 1935, which included numerous Mint State 1835 C-1 and C-2 half cents, many with considerable mint red color remaining. If so, this is certainly one of the finest examples from that group, and it is a coin that will please even the most discerning numismatist or Registry Set collector. Manley Die State 3.0.
