详细说明: 1804 Draped Bust Half Cent. C-13. Rarity-1. Manley Die State 2.0. Plain 4, Stemless Wreath. MS-65 BN (PCGS). CAC. OGH. Offered is an exceptional early Draped Bust half cent that shows satiny brown luster throughout, with a few traces of lighter mint color blended with hints of teal. The strike is sharp on Liberty's hair as well as the wreath, with the fine leaf veins clear when examined. Although a plentiful die pairing, those reported in various Mint State grades virtually all fall short of the Gem level, save for just three examples noted -- all tied for the finest seen of this major variety. The surfaces are satin smooth and show no distracting marks. This die pairing is easy to decipher, as the 4 is Plain, without a crosslet, and the reverse wreath does not have stems on either side of the ribbon. No doubt high in the Condition Census for this variety and an important offering for the variety, date and type collector.
