- 37 graded MS-65 FH, 10 higher at PCGS. Well struck specimens are quite uncommon for 1918-S, which helps explain the large premium required to obtain an example given the coveted "FH" designation from PCGS. Although delineation of Liberty's facial details cannot be denied, her shield admittedly shows a lack of sharpness at some of the rivets. Handsome beige-bronze toning circulates around the peripheral areas, showing more strongly on the reverse.
