FROM THE SEATTLE COLLECTION This is a very tough R-6+ (12-20 minted) three cent nickel pattern. Similar to the regular issue, again using an agricultural wreath reverse with the plain III denomination. Struck on a broader copper planchet with a plain edge. Boldly reflective mirrored fields blaze vibrantly and vividly all over. The fields have a bold clarity and stunning quality. The eye appeal, enhanced by a rich blue overtone on the warm chocolate brown surfaces, is arresting. Trust us, you will have a hard time putting this SUPERB GEM down! PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. This is the sole finest numerically graded. Sold back in 2007 as an NGC PR66 BN with the "*" designation for eye appeal, nothing similar has ever sold in auction.
