- GREAT BRITAIN. Crown, 1743. George II (1727-60). NGC VF-30. S-3688; KM-585.1; Dav-1349. Roses in angles. Charcoal toning in the fields and protected areas produces a very handsome example of the issue. Even modest wear and smooth surfaces. For the type, a coin with prices realized that leap exponentially in the higher grades, with the piece offered here being quite nice for the assigned grade. Estimate: $600 - $800. NGC VF-30.
