- GREAT BRITAIN. Restoration of Charles II Silver Medal, 1660. Charles II (1660-85). PCGS AU-55 Secure Holder. 37 mm; 23.26 gms. Eimer-217; MI-I, 462/57. By T. Rawlins. Scene of Moses observing the Israelites making bricks while Egyptian taskmaster lashes at them; Reverse: Eight line inscription. Variant type of different style on a slightly larger flan and without wreath on reverse. Well struck from dies showing a few hairline cracks. Lightly handled over the year with no significant contact marks and only light handling wear to very highest points of relief. Attractive even glossy gray toned surfaces which take a nice gunmetal blue hue when rotated in light. Estimate: $350 - $500. Provenance: From the Michael Druck Collection.
