1854-FD Octagonal $1. BG-508. Rarity-4+. Liberty Head. AU-58 (PCGS). A pretty semi-prooflike example with sharp striking detail and much of the original finish remaining. FD maker's mark at bottom of reverse. From the same obverse die utilized by Frontier, Deviercy & Co. on BG-505 through BG-510. A lovely example of this issue at the assigned grade level. PCGS# 10485.
