- MEXICO. 8 Reales, 1891-Zs FZ. Zacatecas Mint. PCGS MS-66+ Gold Shield. KM-377.13; DP-Zs77. Tied for finest certified of the type with four other examples on the PCGS population report, none finer. A common date in an exceptionally uncommon state of preservation exhibiting a needle sharp strike clearly defining every feather on the eagle combined with booming original mint luster all complemented by rich smokey gray to slate patina displaying light iridescent hues that pop out with tilted in the light. A very pleasing survivor worthy of the fine cabinet of a discerning collector who is looking for pristine examples to complement their numismatic treasures. Estimate: $2,000 - $3,000.
