1860-D Liberty Half Eagle. Winter 38-FF. Medium D. AU-55 (PCGS). This otherwise khaki-orange example reveals brighter reddish-copper outlines to many of the devices. The strike is softly executed in a few areas near the centers, as typically seen for the issue, but the overall detail is fairly bold for a lightly circulated Dahlonega Mint Five. None of the scattered abrasions are sizable or otherwise worthy of individual attention.
