- MEXICO. War of Independence. Zacatecas. 8 Reales, 1812. PCGS EF-45 Gold Shield. KM-191; Cal-type-191#681. Moneda Provisional. Armored bust. Typical crude manufacture, but with full date and "..VISIONAL DE ZAC...". Hints of luster remaining, hence the assigned grade. Despite the crude manufacture and much nicer example than normally encountered. Lightly toned with good eye appeal. Estimate: $350 - $500.
