- HONDURAS. Provisional Coinage. 1/2 Real, 1823. Tegucigalpa Mint. PCGS AU-50 Gold Shield. 1.63 gms. KM-7.1. Imitation Cob issue. Sharply struck with the first three digits of the date bold and a trace of the "3" visible. Not the equal of the MS-63 we sold at the ANA (August 2018, lot 21181) but definitely better than normally encountered. Lightly toned and attractive. Estimate: $500 - $700.
