- CHINA. Szechuan-Tibet. Rupee, ND (1911-33). Chengdu Mint. PCGS MS-61. L&M-359; K-589; KM-Y-3.2; WS-0758-1. Variety with collar, vertical rosette, and no leaf above "si". Seldom encountered in this beautiful state of preservation, the present specimen offers nearly endless frosted luster and a sharp strike. Some handling and contact consistent for the grade is noted, but even so, this example far outstrips the normal quality that is observed on this type. Estimate: $2,000 - $4,000.
