1809 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-103. Rarity-1. MS-61 (NGC). This a commonly seen variety, in circulated condition, but it is scarce in Mint State. This example has greater-than-usual eye appeal with impressive mint frost and accents of original patina, including dramatic hues of red-gold, crimson, ice-gray, and sunset-gold. Well struck with surprisingly few surface marks for the grade.
