- 1875 Twenty-Cent Piece. Proof-63 (PCGS). The right side of the 1 is right of the shield point. This die was used to strike the majority of both proofs and circulation strikes during the denomination's first year. The Mint produced 38,500 examples for commercial use and 1,200 Proof specimens for collectors. This is a lightly toned Select proof with a couple of small, non-distracting contact marks.
