详细说明: Beautiful and high end! For an Antebellum era coin to survive in such superb quality is very rare, and this gorgeous PQ GEM is among the ten finest PCGS graded coins. Frosty satin like mint sheen glows on both sides. The surfaces are dusted subtly by a touch of iridescent gold and the devices are fully struck up, a very rare trait for this date. At the low end of the condition census. PCGS 9, NGC 16, CAC 10. There are only 2 coins graded MS66+ at PCGS, none at NGC, and only seven coins are finer at PCGS, the finest being the monster MS68 in the Simpson Collection. The last PCGS MS66 CAC to sell in auction realized $6,000 in the 2018 FUN auction and the most recent PCGS MS67 CAC brought $15,275 in the May 2015 auction of the Gardner Collection. The current Collector's Universe value is listed at $5,350 and that is just way too cheap given the cited MS66 in the FUN auction, the Pogue coin that sold in March 2017 for $6,463. The coin that sold in FUN sold previously in May 2015 (also a Gardner coin) for $5,288. We think this one will sell more in line with our range and the CU value will have to be adjusted up. Cert.
