Struck to commemorate Yuan Shih-kai, founder of the Republic. A lustrous amber base boasts attractive purple tone and some gentle mottled tan patina on the reverse. The strike is bold and design elements are well filled, as the intricacies of Yuan Shih-kai's feathered hat are evident.
