- 1767-A Sou. Paris Mint. Breen-700. No RF Counterstamp. AU-53 (PCGS). 158.4 grains. An exceptional example of the type, both sides exhibit glossy golden-brown surfaces with an inviting satin texture. The strike is well centered on the planchet with both sides near-fully denticulated around the borders. All design elements are boldly, if not sharply defined, and the in hand appearance is smooth apart from a few wispy marks over the lower right reverse (mintmark side). Temptingly close to a Choice AU grade, this premium quality copper sou is deserving of the strongest bids. Provenance: From the Greenway Collection. Stack's paper envelope included. PCGS# 158651.
