A lovely toned GEM example. Soft pewter and antique silver blends with pale blue, gold, lime-green, and lilac hues. The subtle differences in hue are brought out by a frosty, shimmering satin luster. Sharply struck overall, the details are bold and there are no serious marks or lines of any kind. The eye appeal is excellent and we don't understand why it did not sticker at CAC. PCGS 15, NGC 10. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $2,750 and the most recent APRs are for CAC coins. Though we think this coin is on par quality wise, our estimate is below the APRs of CAC approved examples. RARE finer with fewer than a dozen graded higher. Bound for a GEM set. Cert.
